She's small but they're bigger,more powerful and quicker so she rules out escape. She feels like a heavy metal comic heroine or lost babe captured by forces unknown. She feels Jadorne's  eyes staring at her out of lust and delight. She's a captive where there's no ransom but it's a fact she could live with.
She sees light at the end of the tunnel.
Jadorne gently prods Katie forward and she marches out of the cavern into the other side of the bizarre black jungle. She hears eerie echos which scare her. Jadorne orders: "Stop."
Katie does so.
Suddenly she feels his huge hand hand grab her and toss her over his shoulder. She feels another pair of hands clasp her ankles and a long silk rope bola is wrapped tightly around her ankles. Jadorne isn't taking chances he intends to keep her,she realize. She gazes around the unfamiliar jungle and she could only guess how her own journey is going to end. She stirs and squirms over his shoulder but Jadorne moves with a pronounce determination with her.
She feels his large fingers squeeze her and she reacts OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
Katie could only guess where the journey ends with her. For now she belong to him and that fate she could easly accept...
